Applications are now open for the 2026 ChangemakerXchange MENA Programme, a year-long leadership and community-building programme designed for young social entrepreneurs and changemakers working to address pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges across the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Europe.
The ChangemakerXchange MENA Programme supports, connects, and amplifies the work of changemakers based in Egypt, Eastern Germany, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland, and Tunisia. Participants gain access to a global changemaker community, tailored capacity-building support, and seed funding for cross-border collaborations.
The programme combines online engagement with an in-person regional summit, creating a powerful space for peer learning, collaboration, and long-term impact.
Programme Overview
- Programme duration: May 2026 – May 2027
- In-person summit: Late September 2026, Morocco
- Focus: Social innovation, youth leadership, and cross-border collaboration
- Support includes: Capacity building, global networking, and collaboration funding
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged 18–35 years
- Permanently live and work in one of the eligible countries
- Be actively involved in social entrepreneurship or changemaking initiatives
- Be able to commit to the full programme duration (May 2026 – May 2027)

Cost and What’s Covered
Participants are responsible for covering:
- Travel to the summit city (including local transport from airport, train, or bus station)
- Visa fees
- Travel insurance
- Any additional expenses from early arrival or extended stay beyond the official summit dates
ChangemakerXchange covers all other programme-related costs, including:
- Accommodation during the summit
- Catering and meals
- Local transportation during the programme
- Venue hire, equipment, and materials
- Facilitation and hosting costs
- Programme management and coordination
- Carbon emissions offsetting related to local hosting
- Post-summit capacity-building activities
- Post-summit community engagement and networking activities
