Applications are now open for the 2027-2028 Rotary Peace Fellowship Program, a fully funded global fellowship for professionals committed to peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and sustainable development.
The Rotary Peace Fellowship is designed for emerging and experienced leaders with a strong track record in peace, development, and community service. Each year, The Rotary Foundation awards up to 50 fellowships for master’s degree programmes and up to 120 fellowships for professional development certificate programmes at leading universities around the world.
About the Rotary Peace Fellowship
Through a combination of academic training, hands-on practice, and global networking, the Rotary Peace Centers Program equips fellows with the skills and knowledge required to become effective catalysts for peace in their communities and internationally.
Rotary Peace Fellows gain exposure to diverse perspectives, develop practical solutions to real-world conflicts, and join a powerful global alumni network of peace and development professionals.
Fellowship Programs Available

Master’s Degree Programs
Selected candidates pursue postgraduate studies focused on peace and development at Rotary Peace Centers worldwide.
- Duration: 15 to 24 months
- Includes a 2–3 month field study, designed and implemented by the fellow
- Emphasis on research-informed teaching and multicultural learning environments

Professional Development Certificate Program
This one-year, blended learning programme is tailored for working professionals with significant experience in peace and development.
- Duration: 1 year
- Combines online learning with in-person sessions
