Applications are now open for the 2026 Andela AI Engineering Bootcamp, a free, highly intensive training program designed for experienced developers who want to transition into enterprise-ready AI engineering roles.
This bootcamp is built to equip senior technologists with the skills required to thrive as forward-deployed, AI-fluent engineers in today’s global tech ecosystem. Over the course of 10 weeks, participants will undergo a rigorous learning experience that combines expert-led sessions, hands-on projects, and real-world problem solving.
By the end of the program, participants will have strengthened their AI engineering capabilities and gained practical exposure to tools and workflows used by top global companies.

Who Can Apply?
The Andela AI Engineering Bootcamp is open to technologists who meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a software engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with Python or Node.js, APIs, databases, and software architecture
- Good working knowledge of TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Prior exposure to AI-related tools and libraries, including OpenAI APIs, LangChain, or vector databases
- Ability to commit 40 hours per week for the full duration of the program
- Access to a PC (Mac/Linux or Windows) with a reliable internet connection
- Not employed full-time, either with an Andela client or elsewhere
Program Expectations
This is a highly demanding and competitive program with limited slots available. Participants are expected to dedicate full-time effort to learning resources, live sessions, and project work throughout the 10 weeks.
Because applications are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis, early application is strongly encouraged to increase your chances of selection.
