The Schneider Electric Young Industry Leaders’ Scholarship Program 2026 is now accepting applications from talented graduates interested in building careers in energy management, sustainability, and digital transformation. The program offers a full tuition scholarship alongside a paid working student contract with Schneider Electric, providing a unique blend of academic learning and real-world industry experience in Europe.
The scholarship supports students admitted to selected Master’s degree programmes at the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf, a leading hub for innovation in smart, sustainable energy systems.
Available Master’s Programmes
Scholarships are awarded to candidates admitted into one of the following programmes:
- MSc in Management of Smart and Sustainable Energy Systems
- MSc in Sustainable Energy and Hydrogen Infrastructures
These programmes prepare students to become future industry leaders capable of addressing global energy challenges through efficiency, digitalisation, and sustainability.
Practical Industry Experience
During the programme, scholars gain hands-on experience through a paid working student role (up to 20 hours per week) at Schneider Electric. Students work across customer-facing and technical departments, allowing them to apply academic knowledge directly within a global energy and automation company.

Selection Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Successful admission into one of the eligible Master’s programmes
- Strong academic background in a technical field such as electrical engineering, energy engineering, automation, mechanical engineering, sustainability, or related disciplines
- Minimum of one year postgraduate work experience (sales, project management, business development, or service experience is an advantage)
- German language proficiency at the B1 or B2 level, with a willingness to improve
- Flexibility to work across Germany, Austria, or Switzerland after graduation
- Strong interest in sustainability and digital transformation
- Alignment with Schneider Electric’s IMPACT values, analytical thinking, and community mindset

Selection Procedure
Applicants must submit the following in addition to their MSc application:
- Motivation letter addressed to Schneider Electric
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Proof of German language proficiency

The selection process includes multiple stages, with final decisions announced approximately two weeks after the final online interviews with Schneider Electric (March–April 2026).
