Applications are now open for the 2026-2027 Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity Fellowship Program, a fully funded global leadership initiative for early to mid-career professionals committed to eliminating health disparities.
The program brings together leaders from diverse sectors that influence health and well-being, including:
- Medicine and health care delivery
- Public policy and government
- Law and academia
- Journalism and media
- Business and social enterprise
- Housing and community development
- Research and advocacy
- Arts and culture
The fellowship builds a multidisciplinary network of leaders equipped with the technical skills, leadership capacity, and global connections needed to advance health equity worldwide.
Who Should Apply?
The fellowship is ideal for individuals who:
- Are early to mid-career professionals
- Are currently engaged in health-related work
- Hold leadership roles or demonstrate strong leadership potential

Program Structure & Expectations
Selected fellows are expected to:
- Attend in-person convenings throughout the year (approximately 4 weeks total commitment)
- Participate in a robust online curriculum requiring 12–16 hours per month, including:
- Biweekly online classes
- Individualized coaching
- Peer mentoring
- Team-based learning
- Be proficient in English
All educational and travel expenses related to the fellowship are fully covered by the program.

- Demonstrated commitment to health equity
- Leadership potential
- Strength of statement of interest
- Quality of proposed fellowship project
- Strong letters of recommendation

Application Components
Applicants must complete the following:

Must be completed by a direct supervisor confirming support for participation.
5️⃣ Two Letters of Recommendation
- Specific to the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity
- At least one from a direct supervisor
