Applications are now open for the 2026 UNIV’R Master’s Scholarship Programme, a fully funded opportunity for recognised refugee students to pursue a Master’s degree in France beginning in September 2026.
The UNIV’R Programme is a joint initiative led by Campus France, UNHCR, and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). The programme aims to expand access to higher education for refugees by supporting them to enrol in accredited French universities.
Applicants may select up to two Master’s programmes from participating institutions.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a recognised refugee (asylum-seekers are not eligible)
- Reside in a first country of asylum outside the European Union
- Be 30 years old or younger at the time of application
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3 or equivalent)
- Demonstrate language proficiency at B2 level in French or English (depending on the language of instruction of the chosen programme)
