MEXT Asia Pacific University Japanese Scholarship 2021 (Fully Funded)
MEXT APU Scholarship 2021 is now open for International Students for the academic year 2020/21. MEXT Asia Pacific University is offering fully funded bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degree programs. Asia Pacific University is among one of the top International Private institutions in Japan.
IELTS/TOEFL is not required for this Fully Funded MEXT APU Scholarship 2020. However, candidates can submit the English Language Proficiency certificate from their previous University, where the primary language was English.

About the MEXT Scholarship
The MEXT fully funded scholarship is awarded to outstanding international students who are recommended by Asia Pacific University. The Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) provides this scholarship to enhance international competitiveness and promote international students’ active exchange in Japanese universities.

- Monthly allowance of 144,000 JPY for accommodation or living expenses
- 100 % Tuition Fee at Asia Pacific University
- Air tickets from Home Country to APU Japan
Eligibility
In order to apply for the MEXT APU Scholarship 2021, you need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- All International Students from any nationality are eligible to apply for MEXT Japan Scholarship
- Must be a born after April 2, 1986
- Applicants must Not have Japanese nationality and be a national of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan
- Candidates who have achieved a GPA of at least 2.30.
Application and Selection Process
- Submit the APU application by November 18, 2020 (for September 2021 Enrollment). Additional documents are not required to be considered for this scholarship.
- APU reviews application documents and selects outstanding candidates to recommend to MEXT.
- Applicants selected to be recommended for this scholarship are notified with their final APU application results.
- Selected applicants complete and submit additional MEXT application documents to APU.
- The final scholarship award results are decided by MEXT.
