The Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Scholarship 2026 is a funding programme launched by the Government of Indonesia to attract exceptional students from across the globe. Scholarship Benefits
A. Full Award
- Complete waiver of tuition fees
- Monthly stipend:
– Undergraduate: IDR 1,500,000
– Master’s: IDR 1,750,000

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Applicants must not be citizens of Indonesia.
- Age Requirement: Bachelor’s applicants must be under 24 years old.
- Legal Status: Must not hold refugee status or have serious criminal convictions.
- Language Proficiency:
– English: TOEFL ≥ 450 (science) or ≥ 500 (social sciences), or equivalent.
– Bahasa Indonesia: Certificate optional but advantageous. - Academic Background: Must demonstrate academic promise and maintain the required GPA.
- Other Conditions: Online interview and, for partial awardees, proof of financial support.
- Mandatory Step: Secure a recommendation letter from the nearest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate.

Scholarship Duration & Academic Requirements
- Bachelor’s: 8 semesters
• Master’s: 4 semesters
• Doctoral: 6 semesters - Academic Standards:
• Minimum GPA 3.00 (Social Sciences)
• Minimum GPA 2.75 (Engineering/Natural Sciences)
Note: Extensions beyond the standard period will not be covered.

- Present the Offer Letter, Passport, Certificate, and Transcript at the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate for a recommendation.
- Apply online through the registration portal.

- Initial interview: 14 – 16 October
- Computer-based test: 24 October
- Final interview: 30 – 31 October
- Results announced: 17 November
- Visa & permit processing: December 2025

Responsibilities of Awardees
Awardees must:
- Comply with Indonesian law and UNS regulations.
- Participate fully in academic and related activities.
- Maintain the required GPA throughout the programme.
- Graduate within the funded period.
Note: Non-compliance, underperformance, or withdrawal may result in termination and repayment obligations.
