Eligibility Criteria for Google Scholarship for Women
- Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in the second or third year of study at an accredited university during the 2024–2025 academic year.
- Plan to continue full-time undergraduate studies at an accredited university or college for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Be pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Exhibit leadership qualities, commitment to diversity, and a drive to make meaningful contributions in technology.
- Maintain a strong academic record, demonstrating academic excellence.
- Provide evidence of financial need as part of the application process.
- Please note: Individuals who are children of current Google employees are ineligible for this award.
Application Requirements
- General personal and academic background, including contact details and details of current and future academic institutions.
- A resume or CV uploaded in PDF format.
- Two letters of recommendation, which can come from academic mentors, instructors, or supervisors familiar with the applicant’s work and character.
- Academic transcripts, preferably unofficial, from the applicant’s current institution.
- Responses to short essay questions, allowing applicants to reflect on their leadership experience, goals, and challenges overcome.
