The SIMSIS Laboratory, located in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Louisiana State University, is recruiting highly motivated Master’s and PhD students to contribute to its ongoing research.
Research areas focus on:
- Structural Health Monitoring of civil infrastructure
- Digital Twin modeling and assessment techniques
- Immersive visualization and intelligent system applications
Successful applicants will be appointed as Graduate Research Assistants, with full financial support provided through assistantships.
Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to applicants from all countries. To be considered, candidates must meet the academic requirements for graduate admission at LSU and show strong research potential in areas relevant to the lab’s work.
Minimum Requirements:
- Background in Structural Health Monitoring and core structural engineering subjects
- Experience with Finite Element Modeling and numerical/digital modeling methods
- Research and scientific writing experience
