What the HAN Scholarship Covers
Bachelor’s Applicants
HAN NL Scholarship: €2,500 in your first and second semesters, then €2,500 per year for three more years if you maintain 45 ECTS credits annually.
Honors Scholarship: Extra €2,500/year from Year 2 onward if you excel academically and didn’t receive the HAN NL Scholarship.
Master’s Applicants
HAN NL Scholarship: €2,500 in each of the first two semesters (total €5,000).
Honors Scholarship: One-time €2,500 award in the second semester for top-performing students.
Who Can Apply for the HAN Scholarship
To be eligible for the HAN Scholarship, you must:
- Be a non-EU/EEA national (e.g., Nigerian).
- Have not previously studied at a Dutch higher institution.
- Be admitted into a full-time, English-taught program at HAN University.
- Show proof of English proficiency:
- IELTS score 6.5+, TOEFL iBT 90+, or
- Cambridge English Certificate (CAE/CPE).
