Pearson International Scholarship application.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply to the Pearson International Scholarship, you must be:

  • An international student (i.e. a non-Canadian requiring a study permit);
  • Currently in your final year of secondary school in 2024/2025 or have graduated no earlier than June 2024
  • Beginning your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025

Application Process

Here are the steps to apply for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship at the University of Toronto:

  1. Receive a nomination from your school. High schools not already contacted must submit an application to participate, available through this provided link. Schools that participated previously will receive nomination access starting July 1, 2024.
  2. Apply to study at the University of Toronto by October 18, 2024, to begin your studies in September 2025. Note that you will be considered for the Pearson Scholarship for your first choice of program at the university. While you can apply for multiple programs and receive admission to them, the Pearson Scholarship, if awarded, will be restricted to your first program choice when the scholarship decisions are made.
  3. Once nominated by your school and you’ve applied to the university, complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application by November 8, 2024. You will receive a private link to the scholarship application after successful nomination.
  4. Submit all necessary documentation online by November 8, 2024.
