WEMA Bank Hackaholics Hackathon 2026 for Nigerian Entrepreneurs

The WEMA Bank Hackaholics Hackathon 2026 is now open to applications from growth-focused Nigerian startups looking to scale sustainably and unlock new opportunities. The Hackaholics Accelerator Program is designed for revenue-generating startups that have moved beyond ideation and are ready to strengthen systems, expand market traction, and build strategic partnerships.

Unlike early-stage hackathons, Hackaholics is built for founders facing real growth challenges such as operational scaling, compliance, partnerships, and capital efficiency. Through a hybrid accelerator model, selected startups will benefit from expert-led sessions, hands-on support, and direct access to industry partners within and beyond the WEMA Bank ecosystem.

About the Hackaholics Accelerator Program

Hackaholics 2026 targets mid-stage and growth-stage startups with validated products and active customers. The program combines virtual and in-person sessions to help founders transition from operating their businesses to effectively scaling them.

Participants will receive tailored guidance focused on business growth, technology integration, partnerships, and long-term sustainability.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a mid-stage or growth-stage startup
• Already generating revenue
• Have a working MVP or live product
• Be a registered Nigerian business
• Have been in operation for at least two years
• Founders must be actively involved in day-to-day business execution

Program Participation Requirements

Selected startups must:

• Commit to the full duration of the accelerator
• Participate in both virtual and physical sessions (hybrid format)
• Be open to sharing relevant business data for mentorship and learning
• Demonstrate readiness to engage with partners, customers, and investors
• Assign at least one founder or senior decision-maker to participate actively
