The Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture (AEPC): Sub-Saharan Africa Component – Connect & Create, is now offering Mobility Grants of up to €4,000 to help artists and cultural professionals showcase their talent, build international collaborations, and engage with wider audiences across Africa and Europe.
This initiative goes beyond travel support — it is designed to strengthen partnerships, expand career opportunities, and promote cultural exchange across the continent and beyond.
About the Programme
The AEPC Sub-Saharan Component is an €8 million programme funded by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut, in partnership with Expertise France and Institut français. Running from 2025 to 2028, it fosters co-creation, exchange, and mutual understanding between African and European cultural actors.
The focus is on short-term mobility within Africa (Africa-Africa), but European artists and organisations can also apply if they collaborate with African partners. The programme emphasises inclusivity, targeting youth, women, and persons with disabilities.
