Applications are now open for the Secretary-General position at Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) — a full-time, remote leadership opportunity for candidates under 35. As the largest independent network of youth-led environmental organisations in Europe, YEE is seeking a visionary individual to steer its strategic direction, amplify youth voices in policy spaces, and drive impactful campaigns on climate justice, biodiversity, and the circular economy.

Who is this for?
YEE is looking for applicants who:
- Are aligned with YEE’s core values and mission;
- Are under the age of 35 by August 2025
- Have at least 3 years of leadership experience in NGOs or advocacy networks
- Possess experience managing EU-funded projects (e.g. Erasmus+, LIFE)
- Can lead cross-sector coalitions involving youth, civil society, and institutions
- Are fluent in English (a second European language is an added advantage)
Preferred Competencies:
- Strong understanding of EU policy frameworks
- Proven fundraising ability
- Experience leading digital campaigns or advocacy initiatives

Work Arrangements
Contract period: A minimum of 12 months full-time (40 hours per week) employment contract with a strong prospect of prolonging. This role includes a 3-month provisional period.
Remuneration: 73,150 CZK gross (approximately 2955.80 EUR) per month.
