Apply for the 2025 UN Talent Pipeline for Young Professionals
Are you a mid-career professional from Nigeria or another developing country with a vision to shape global policies and drive international change? The UN Talent Pipeline 2025 is now open, offering a unique, fully funded opportunity to build a career within the United Nations Secretariat.
This prestigious programme is more than a career accelerator—it’s a chance to join a movement for equitable global representation. Backed by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal 16.8, which focuses on enhancing the voice and participation of developing countries in international decision-making.
For decades, African countries—especially Nigeria—have been underrepresented in key UN roles. The UN Talent Pipeline directly addresses this by actively preparing talented individuals from these regions to not only compete but also excel in UN recruitment processes.
What You’ll Gain
Successful applicants benefit from:
- Professional mentorship from experienced UN staff
- Hands-on training on navigating UN recruitment systems
- Exclusive networking with a global community of peers and experts
- Enjoy full sponsorship—this programme covers all costs, so you can focus entirely on your growth.
- Beyond career development, the skills you gain—leadership, strategic thinking, and intercultural communication—will serve you for life.
You can also apply for the UNITAR Global Youth Scholars Development Programme 2025
