The TWAS-SN Bose Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 2025/2026 offers an exceptional opportunity for researchers from developing countries to strengthen their expertise in the physical sciences. Hosted at the S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences in Kolkata, India, the programme provides access to advanced facilities, expert mentorship, and a dynamic research community. It is designed to enable scholars to expand their academic experience, explore new areas of inquiry, and collaborate with leading scientists in India.
This initiative is jointly organised by The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and the S.N. Bose Centre, with the primary goal of promoting global scientific exchange and capacity-building in developing nations. By supporting young researchers, the fellowship aims to enhance innovation, strengthen research networks, and ensure that fellows return to their home institutions equipped with advanced skills and knowledge, thereby contributing meaningfully to scientific growth.
