About the World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship
The World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship is designed to help governments make better use of the data they already collect. While many governments hold vast amounts of information, it often goes underutilised without the right skills or systems in place.
This program teaches participants how to turn raw data into actionable insights that improve decision-making, optimise operations, and guide policy development.
Fellows benefit from the Government Analytics Handbook and hands-on mentorship from World Bank experts and academics, gaining both the theoretical knowledge and practical tools needed to lead analytics projects that create real impact in their organisations.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for the 2026 fellowship, applicants must:

- Hold a mid-level management or senior analyst position (or equivalent) with the authority to lead an analytics project
- Have completed tertiary-level coursework in statistics or quantitative methods
