Are you a woman pursuing a PhD in aerospace-applied sciences or engineering? The Amelia Earhart Fellowship 2026 is now open, offering a prestigious and competitive award of up to $10,000 to support your academic journey and research.
Established in 1938 by Zonta International, this fellowship recognises outstanding women who are breaking barriers in aerospace-related fields. Since its founding, the programme has supported 1,365 women from 80 countries, awarding over $12.2 million in total. The fellowship addresses the severe gender gap in aerospace, where women represent only around 25% of the workforce.
