Who Is Eligible to apply for the UN OHCHR Fellowship

  • Be of African descent and residing outside of Africa
  • Have at least 4 years’ experience in human rights work focused on African-descended communities
  • Be proficient in English
  • Be available to attend the full fellowship in Switzerland
  • Be able to secure a visa to Switzerland and any other relevant countries
  • Be actively involved in promoting and protecting the rights of people of African descent

  • Personal statement (max 500 words)
  • Letter of nomination from your organisation (on letterhead)
