iF Social Impact Prize 2026 for Young Changemakers (€100,000 Prize Fund)

Applications are now open for the 2026 iF Social Impact Prize, a global award supporting projects that create positive social and environmental impact. The prize recognises initiatives that actively contribute to achieving one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Organised by iF Design, the iF Social Impact Prize awards a total of €100,000 every year to outstanding projects that use design as a tool for social change. Eligible projects must already be established and demonstrate measurable impact. Student concepts are not accepted.

Projects can be submitted a maximum of two times using the same initiative.

Who Can Apply?

The iF Social Impact Prize is open to:

• Individuals, organisations, NGOs, social enterprises, and startups
• Projects that are already implemented or operational
• Initiatives that are design-related (design is one of the five evaluation criteria)
• Projects aligned with at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)

Projects selected by the jury will receive:
