The Andela–CNCF Kubernetes African Developer Training Program 2026 is now accepting applications from young African technologists interested in building in-demand cloud-native skills. The initiative is a collaboration between the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), Linux Foundation Education, and Andela, with a goal to train between 20,000 and 30,000 African developers for global cloud and DevOps roles.

Program Overview
The Kubernetes African Developer Training Program is a 7-week intensive learning experience that combines:
- Self-paced online learning
- Mentor-led technical sessions
- Peer-to-peer collaboration and engagement
Participants will complete the Kubernetes and Cloud Native Essentials course hosted on the Linux Foundation learning platform. The curriculum introduces learners to:
- Kubernetes architecture and core components
- Container orchestration challenges and solutions
- Deploying, managing, and monitoring applications in distributed cloud environments
The training is designed to help participants understand how modern cloud systems work and how Kubernetes is used in real-world production environments.
