The Global Leadership Challenge (GLC) 2025 is now open for applications. This programme will convene 100 young leaders from across the world, bringing them together in a virtual format that blends leadership development, global collaboration, and impact-driven projects.
The GLC is a high-impact, intensive leadership programme designed for postgraduate students and early-career professionals. Held virtually from 11 to 15 December 2025, participants will explore complex global challenges through design thinking frameworks, working in teams to develop actionable solutions.
This is not just a training, it’s a journey into leadership with a conscience. Through structured sessions, mentorship, and peer learning, GLC seeks to shape leaders who not only excel individually but also contribute meaningfully to societal and global good.

Who Should Apply?
GLC 2025 is open to individuals who:
- Are between 21 and 30 years old, and are either enrolled in a Master’s/PhD programme or hold an undergraduate degree and have relevant experience.
- Demonstrate a passion for responsible leadership—whether through volunteering, social projects, academics, or professional work.
- Prepared to commit to participating in five half-days of programming from 11 to 15 December 2025.
- Come from any academic discipline and any nationality.
Active participation in all sessions is required to receive the certificate at the end of the programme.

The 2025 Theme: Sustainable Living at Scale
In 2025, GLC is centred around the theme “Sustainable Living at Scale.” The challenge encourages participants to conceptualise solutions that enable millions of people to maintain healthy, affordable, and environmentally sustainable lifestyles. The theme aligns participants’ projects with real-world systems and demand, pushing ideas toward scalable impact.
How to Apply
Applicants will need to prepare:
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing education, experience, and achievements.
- A recent portrait photo.
- Proof of current student status (if applicable).
- Short written responses and a 40-second video on responsible leadership and how you envision contributing positively to global challenges.
- A motivational letter indicating why you wish to join GLC, how you embody responsible leadership, and what you bring uniquely to the cohort.
Applications are due by 2 November 2025. Make sure you complete all sections—including the video—and submit before the deadline. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
