McArthur Research Fellowship. This fully funded opportunity supports policy-relevant research to deepen Canada–U.S. strategic collaboration and strengthen Indo-Pacific policy frameworks.
Named in honour of Dr John H. McArthur—former Chair of APF Canada’s Board and Dean Emeritus at Harvard Business School—the fellowship aims to foster impactful research that can shape diplomatic, security, and economic strategies in a rapidly evolving global environment. Now entering its fourth cycle, the 2025–2026 programme will support four Fellows working at the crossroads of North American and Indo-Pacific relations.

Eligibility Criteria
- 10–20 years of experience in academia, policy, government, or related sectors
- Open to scholars, policy analysts, and international affairs professionals
- Canadian or U.S. citizens or permanent residents preferred; other applicants may be considered if their work aligns with the fellowship’s goals.
