- Have met the minimum qualifications to gain admission into a recognised Federal or State university in Nigeria
- Be between 16 and 20 years of age
- Be able to provide a clear and compelling explanation for needing financial assistance
- Maintain excellent academic performance throughout their course of study to continue benefiting from the scholarship

- Books and educational materials: Up to ₦25,000 per academic year
